Your data stays on your device
The report never leaves your machine unless you choose to send a specific item to a provider you name. Photos are scrubbed of EXIF/GPS at intake. There is no account to create and nothing to sync. It is not a SaaS platform, not a data business, and never a broker of homeowner information.
Your judgment, your report
The AI never authors the report and never sets a rating. It only nominates existing, standard-cited library rows; every machine suggestion is tagged unverified until you confirm it. The severity call is yours, exclusively. Every library row cites its governing standard (launch edition: the ASHI Standard of Practice for Home Inspections, 2014).
Optional AI vision — on your terms
AI is off by default. If you turn it on, you choose the hosted FindingsVault Vision service or bring your own provider key. Contributing anonymized images to improve the tool is a separate, clearly-labeled, opt-in choice — never bundled, never required, and never sold or brokered.
